About Gilded Social
GILDED SOCIAL was founded by Scott Friedberg in 2011 while he was a sophomore at Syracuse University. The firm has since grown to support over 75 companies across various industries with marketing and digital signage solutions. Expanding the GILDED brand is a core part of our strategy. In 2019, we opened GILDED CLUB, a speakeasy-style lounge in downtown Syracuse, and in 2021, we partnered with a longtime client to launch CardBreaks.com, an online media property focused on the sports collectibles industry. We’re actively exploring additional brand extensions and acquisition opportunities to expand our reach further.
About the Role
The Content Editor and Designer will create high-performing content across video, social, web, and email. This role blends visual storytelling with digital design to support brand growth and performance.
Responsibilities
• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and paid social
• Design graphics for social media, email, landing pages, and ad creatives
• Repurpose long-form content into highlight clips
• Maintain visual brand consistency across all content types and platforms
• Support web design tasks (basic layouts, page design in tools like WordPress or Shopify)
Skills
• Strong video editing skills in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or CapCut
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva (Figma is a plus)
• Understanding of visual trends and best practices on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Experience designing for performance (ads, emails, and web graphics)
• Comfortable working with brand guidelines and quick turnaround deadlines
