We’re looking for a creative, detail-driven content creator to craft high-quality internal media and video that inspires and informs our retail coffeehouse partners. In this role, you’ll blend social media savvy with compelling narratives to produce content that sparks engagement, builds capability, and elevates the coffeehouse experience. Your work will help partners feel connected, empowered, and proud of the craft behind every cup. As a content creator, you will… • Develop and implement social media strategies to engage retail partners and promote company initiatives. • Collaborate with internal teams to define campaign objectives, execute tasks, and resolve challenges. • Recommend innovative approaches to promote company offerings and expand reach to retail partners. • Conceptualize, pitch, edit, and publish high-quality videos for Starbucks internal channels. • Research market trends and developments relevant to campaign topics. • Manage the entire video production process from ideation and scripting to filming, directing talent, editing, and publishing. We’d love to hear from people with: • Exceptional creativity and storytelling ability to craft compelling narratives. • Advanced proficiency in creating and editing social media content, with hands-on experience using tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and CapCut. • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to represent the brand professionally and uphold company standards. • Confidence in appearing on camera and representing the brand authentically. • Flexibility and adaptability to embrace new challenges and experiences. • In-depth knowledge of and genuine interest in the Starbucks brand and its global community. Content Creator Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, or a related field. • Demonstrated experience producing engaging, high-quality content. • Expertise in social media content creation and video production. • A portfolio showcasing relevant creative work. • Excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing across multiple formats. • Strong research, organizational, and time management abilities. • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with proven collaboration and listening capabilities. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Capacity to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality or accuracy. • Physical ability to bend, lift, and carry light equipment, stand or move for extended periods, and appear on camera. • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms, tools, and industry trends. • Alignment with Starbucks culture and brand guidelines. • Commitment to adhering to Starbucks social media policies. Video submission Record and edit a short video showing how you make your favorite beverage. In the video, share what you love about it and what food you would pair it with. Be creative, be unique, and let your personality and passion shine! Publish your video on your favorite social media platform and make sure the link is public or viewable. You’ll provide this link during the application process. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
