The Role: Content & Booking Assistant
As a Content & Booking Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our audience development and speaker booking leads. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing content ideas and data sources to inform our speaker booking and audience development strategies
Crafting VIP outreach and researching potential initiatives to support our events and content programming
Coordinating with our partners and stakeholders to ensure successful event execution
Assisting with writing and editing content for various channels, including social media, blog posts, and event materials
Providing administrative support to our content team and company founders
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research to identify potential speakers, topics, and trends in the industry
Develop and maintain relationships with speakers, partners, and stakeholders
Assist with event planning, including logistics, coordination, and communication
Write and edit content for various channels, including social media, blog posts, and event materials
Provide administrative support to our content team and company founders
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should:
Have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a related role, such as content creation, event planning, or audience development
Possess basic knowledge of business software, including MS Office products, Google For Business, or similar
Have experience with writing in a business context and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be highly organized and have great time management skills, with the ability to act independently
Hold a 4-year college/university degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with event planning, speaker booking, or audience development
Knowledge of the media and events industry
Strong research and analytical skills
Proficiency in social media management and content creation tools
