The Consultant role involves leading and managing projects, applying strategic thinking, and communicating effectively with various stakeholders to achieve fundraising goals.ResponsibilitiesSuccessfully lead and manage projects from inception to conclusionApply critical and strategic thinking to quickly identify the crux of a problem, question, or issueCommunicate clearly, concisely, and logically both verbally and in writing and is comfortable articulating strategies with a variety of audiencesAdopt an approach to any given situation and remain open-minded to new ideasThrive in a mission-oriented environment and is motivated by the idea of working across philanthropic sectorsDeveloping work plans and materials for campaign planning studies and development assessmentsConducting analysis of our clients through review of fundraising performance and interviews with organization's executives, volunteer leaders, and donorsPreparing fundraising campaign materials, including strategic plans, operating materials, case statements, and major gift proposalsConducting in-depth prospect researchCrafting individual cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategiesWrite and deliver high-impact presentations and materialsAbility to temporarily relocate and/or travel for regional assignments, if requested, to the following states: California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and NevadaSkillsCandidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorshipExcellent quantitative analytical skillsKeen business sense demonstrated in either a professional or academic environmentExceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, volunteers, donors, and prospective donorsOutstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyGreat storytelling skills and strong public speaking skillsProfessional demeanorComputer proficiencyPossesses a valid driver's license or can obtain one within six months of employmentBenefitsCompetitive benefitsDynamic training programResourcesCareer advancementMentoringNetworking opportunitiesCompany OverviewCCS Fundraising provides interim development management and assessments services.
