Responsibilities • Report directly to a North American M&M Manager and be accountable for engagement with client personnel and delivery of results. • Collaborate with the global Metals and Mining Industry Team to contribute to thought leadership, offerings, and methodologies, bringing global best practices to the North American market and clients • Work in consulting business assessment and implementation engagements. • Act as a trusted advisor to client management and front-line personnel, maintaining and expanding relationships in alignment with the account team • Participate in and contribute to internal and external industry networks with the aim of developing new business. We are looking for someone who: • Is excited about making a tangible difference for our clients • Has a passion for solving challenging issues and making a measurable impact • Is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Is a team player, collaborative, and capable of leading diverse teams • Thrives in complexity, is a critical thinker, and possesses intellectual curiosity, with flexibility to analyze and adapt to various situations • Is a great listener, with the ability to understand client business context and support the transformation journey • Can work on the ground with front-line workers and client management teams • Is able to travel and spend time at client locations Qualifications: • Experience working in a management consulting firm and/or hands-on experience in the Metals and Mining industry is a plus • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industry solutions and best practices in operational risk, operational excellence, and sustainability practice lines • Strong communication and presentation skills at the Consultant level, with the ability to effectively drive solution development, and high-quality delivery of key services • Proven experience in managing, leading, and developing a team • An entrepreneurial spirit, results-focused, and adept at thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly growing consulting environment • Intermediate skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Project, PowerBI, Tableau, and Visio is preferred Working Experience: • Technical knowledge and experience in supporting clients on transformational journeys, including strategy development, operational roadmaps, integration into business units and functions, and support in implementation • Strong understanding of and familiarity operational performance improvement and operations excellence methodologies would be a plus • Knowledge and experience in the Metals and Mining Industry Expertise: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related fields • The ideal candidate will have previous consulting experience • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team-working attitude to collaborate within fast-paced, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary teams • Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must #LI-MC1 Apply tot his job
