Construction Project Manager - Contract to Hire

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone with a strong organizational backbone, a designer’s eye, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts with clarity and care. You will lead schedules, budgets, systems, and people while ensuring high-quality execution, strong client experience, and seamless team coordination. What You’ll Do: Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from planning through completion Conduct job walks with new clients and translate vision into clear, well-scoped work plans Prepare detailed scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and project documentation Build and maintain Gantt schedules with dependencies using construction management software Manage construction software platforms including in JobTread (experience with a similar program is a plus) Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients Track budgets, change orders, procurement, and material scheduling Monitor jobsite progress, quality control, safety compliance, and timelines Maintain organized project files, logs, and communication systems Support estimating and cost review as well as take-offs Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project standards What You Bring: Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager overseeing active projects Strong systems thinker who enjoys organization, structure, and process improvement Excellent multitasker with exceptional attention to detail Tech-savvy and comfortable working across multiple software platforms Proficiency with JobTread, Buildertrend, ProCore, Bluebeam, or similar tools Ability to create and manage schedules with dependencies Skilled at reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications Comfortable leading job walks, client meetings, and trade coordination Dependable, accountable, and willing to go the extra mile when it matters Calm, professional, and easy to work with under pressure Preferred Experience: Experience with construction software Background in residential, commercial, or civil construction projects Experience managing subcontractors and contract documentation Strong communication and relationship-building skills Why You’ll Love Working With Us: We value clarity, collaboration, and craftsmanship.
