Science Tutor Aces High Tutoring Job Description We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science Tutor to support students in building confidence and mastery in science subjects. The ideal candidate is patient, engaging, and able to explain complex concepts in a clear, approachable way. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring in science subjects (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Science) Assess students' strengths and learning gaps Create customized lesson plans aligned with school curriculum Help students prepare for exams, quizzes, and assignments Track student progress and communicate updates as needed Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment Qualifications Strong background in science (degree in Science, Education, or related field preferred) Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles Reliable, organized, and punctual Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience with standardized test prep Familiarity with online tutoring platforms (if remote) Teaching certification (optional) What We Offer Flexible scheduling Competitive hourly pay Supportive and collaborative environment Opportunity to make a real impact on students' success Job Type:
