Consolidation & International Accounting Manager

Toast is driven by building the all-in-one restaurant platform that helps restaurants operate their business, increase sales, engage guests, and keep employees happy.Toast is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Consolidation and International Accounting Manager to lead the global consolidation process for financial close activities. This role will ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP, coordinate with regional and functional finance teams, manage inter-company eliminations, foreign currency translation, and have project management oversight of our foreign statutory financial reporting process. The ideal candidate will have strong operational accounting expertise and excellent collaboration and communication skills to support reporting, audit, and internal stakeholder needs.About this roll*(Responsibilities)Manages the consolidated financial close, special transactions, local currency and functional currency accounting processes.Prepares and reviews internal management reports and variance analysis.Takes ownership of the Company’s Group Consolidations and accounting processes, key SOX controls and policy manual.Responsible for evaluating the Company’s foreign exchange exposure and implementing the necessary accounting procedures and controls.Project manages international statutory financial reporting for non-US entities and collaborates with key stakeholders.Works cross functionally with Finance/forecast teams, revenue teams, business technology/system teams, internal and external auditors.Do you have the right ingredients*?(Requirements)6+ years of relevant progressive accounting experience preferably with a combination of public accounting experiences and in-house operational experiencesOperational accounting experience NetSuite experienceGlobal and public company experience Strong ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively to proactively identify accounting impacts and drive solutionsAbility to work independently and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Special Sauce* (Nice-to-Have Skills)CPAExperience with multiple ERP systems, Blackline / FloQast, etc. *We love a good bread/food pun!Our Spread* of Total RewardsWe strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits programs that help to attract, retain, and motivate the best and brightest people in our industry. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience.
