Configuration Manager, Junior

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Junior Configuration Manager to administer support services for projects and maintain project information. The role involves providing Configuration Management support for complex C4I systems, monitoring change processes, and conducting audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.ResponsibilitiesAdminister the support services for a project or program and maintain project information for project managers and directorsProvide Configuration Management (CM) support to the SCMS CM team and projects related to the design, development, and production of complex Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systemsMonitor change processes to ensure updates to Technical Data Packages are implemented in a timely mannerImplement CM processes in accordance with CM plans and industry standardsConduct Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) on systems prior to establishing a product baseline, maintain drawings and Configuration Item data in the CM database tool, and update drawing package changes, as requiredSupport Configuration Control Boards (CCB) by compiling CCB change request data prior to the CCB, facilitating the CCB agenda during the meeting, and generating meeting minutes for CCBsEnsure proper maintenance of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) systems, prepare CSA reports as required, track Technical Directive (TD) implementation for approved changes, and support the establishment and maintenance of production baselinesSkillsKnowledge of configuration management practicesAbility to promote the advancement of the programs supported using expertise in learning configuration managementAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceAssociate's degree and 4+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience in a professional work environmentExperience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPointExperience supporting DoD programsKnowledge of technical data as it relates to the design, operation, and maintenance of complex C4I systemsBenefitsHealthLifeDisabilityFinancialRetirement benefitsPaid leaveProfessional developmentTuition assistanceWork-life programsDependent careCompany OverviewBooz Allen Hamilton is a consulting firm that specializes in analytics, technology, and engineering.
