Computer Systems Engineer

Job Description: • Provide knowledge and skill development in designing, troubleshooting and servicing computer equipment and software. • Apply engineering methods for product analysis and research. • Serve as lead developer of tier applications using Android (Java and Kotlin) as access technology for enterprise backend systems. • Work with product owners, business analysts and product managers in defining and managing business/technical requirements. • Lead the full SDLC process of Android application solutions, including, but not limited to Kotlin, Java, HTML5, JSON, XML and consuming RESTful web services. • Lead the full SDLC process of web service-oriented backend solutions, including but not limited to Java, Spring frameworks, Mybatis, consuming SOAP with services, producing RESTful with services and SOA middleware. • Lead the design of database objects in relational databases including but not limited to DB2, SQL Server, SQLite, and or Oracle. • Evaluate emerging technologies considering cost, portability, compatibility, and usability. • Provide technical guidance and support to oversee staff assigned to project, monitor system operations, guide installment teams to implement secure systems and use commercial and proprietary tools to verify that the company’s products perform according to the mathematical analysis to data under Agile Scrum methodology. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Computational Systems Engineering or the foreign equivalent. • Three years (36 months) of experience in Computer Systems Engineering, Software Development, or a related occupation. • Experience must include experience with Android Mobile Systems and Android Application Development. • Must have experience with each of the following programs and databases: Kotlin; Java, C#; DB2; SQL Server; SQLite; and Oracle. • Less than 10% domestic travel required annually.
