Computer Coding Tutors Needed- Python, JS, Java, block-based
We are looking for personable "Code Coaches" to teach children between 7-18 yrs of age to code in Scratch, Python, Java etc. in Anthem, AZ.
We are looking for high school and college-aged or older computer coders who are looking for part time work in a dynamic, positive environment. If you love to code and want to work with kids to build apps and games- this is for you! Computer coding is the... future, and we want to equip the next generation with skills that will not only be fun to learn, but will help them succeed.
We offer flexible hours and wages from $16- $19/hour. The qualities we are looking for are strong competency with a few different code languages, a positive, engaging demeanor and a desire to improve the lives of the children that come into our doors.
Applicants should have a strong grasp of basic procedural programming. General knowledge of a few languages is assumed - Scratch, Python, Javascript, HTML/CSS, Java are most helpful. Deep technical skills aren't required - we prefer you communicate well and find answers along with students rather than know everything upfront.
Our priorities include having children LOVE their time with us. We want their self esteem to shoot through the roof, we want them feeling proud of the programs they build, and we want them to continually use their imaginations and creativity to build even more cool things.
