Position: Bioinformatics Researcher Type Contract Compensation $60–$90/hour Location Remote Duration 1–2 months Commitment 10–20 hours/week Role Responsibilities • Evaluate AI model capabilities in bioinformatics to design and execute complex workflows. • Develop benchmarks using real-world, published scientific data to test model performance. • Collaborate with AI labs to ensure rigorous scientific reasoning and tool proficiency. • Work independently and asynchronously to meet project goals and deadlines. • Improve model outputs by providing structured feedback and enhancing training data quality. Qualifications • Must be a current graduate student (M.S. or Ph.D.) or hold a higher degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field. • Experience using bioinformatics command line tools. • Exceptional attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
