Compensation Consultant - Fully Remote

Leading software company is looking for a Compensation Consultant to join their team. This is a temp and fully remote opportunity!

Pay Rate of the Compensation Consultant:

$86/hr

Responsibilities of the Compensation Consultant:
• Partner and consult with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and leaders on compensation matters and develop and/or recommend compensation programs, policies and practices supporting the Compensation Strategy to achieve desired business results
• Understand the business and related specific market conditions to build positive relationships across the organization and influence clients of all levels on compensation matters, specifically Sales
• Identify and generate competitive solutions to complex compensation issues, while counseling and educating the HR team as well as the management team on compensation philosophy and best practices
• Conduct comprehensive analysis and market studies to evaluate the competitiveness of base, variable, and long-term incentive programs with a focus in Sales.
• Evaluate analysis results, recommend program changes, model cost impact, and present final recommendations to Human Resources and Business Leaders
• As a core team member, participate in the design and implementation of a global job architecture, and global leveling and pay structure
• Effectively drive philosophical and program changes throughout the organization, in conjunction with an evolving compensation strategic plan.
• Key contributor to the design and execution of annual global base salary and bonus programs
• Contribute to the further development and implementation of compensation tools and techniques that helps the rest of the HR team make appropriate pay decisions
• Remain up to date on legal regulations surrounding compensation issues and provide advice and recommendations as needed to ensure compliance
• Develop and deliver training for both Human Resources and management on a variety of total rewards programs
• Additionally, this role will be responsible for partnering, mentoring and providing direction to the compensation analysis team

Requirements of the Compensation Consultant:
• 8+ years of compensation experience with thorough knowledge and application of compensation/total rewards practices, principles and theories
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Demonstrated ability in successfully managing and delivering multiple end to end projects and programs simultaneously
• Experience consulting at all levels in the organization and influencing the decision-making process and outcome through detailed analysis/models, innovative recommendations, and demonstrating compensation expertise
• Effective problem solver through a systematic approach to asking questions, understanding root causes and confidently influencing others
• Software/High Technology industry experience preferred
• Experience with Sales/ variable compensation plan experience highly desirable
• CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) highly desirable
• Master’s or MBA
