Community Health Resilience Specialist
The American Red Cross is seeking a Community Health Resilience Specialist. This is a virtual position. Identify and develop health and mental health disaster risk reduction and other resilience strategies, tools and resources to establish standard operating procedures for field implementation. Implement evaluation and monitoring processes including development of metrics and benchmarks to measure program outcomes. Collect and analyze field data, identify areas of need and/or improvement, and develop recommendations for program improvement and sustainability. Develop reports on project status, milestones, and issues for leadership and field review. Identify and leverage national and federal financial resources in support of Mission Adaptation Program communities. Support Grant Management process for grants made to community organizations that support access to health and mental health services including monitoring and evaluation best practices.
