Communications & Outreach Volunteer (Remote, 5–8 hrs/week)

Exodus & Resilience is a global cultural and educational platform launched in New York City. Our work focuses on three pillars Exhibitions & Community Spaces itinerant shows combining 70% emerging and 30% established artists, with institutional loans and community participation. Education & Digital Platform innovative programs for schools, universities, and the public, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 4, 10, 11, 16, 17). Philanthropy & Social Impact hybrid revenue model (art sales, sponsorships, philanthropy) under fiscal sponsorship with Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) public charity, ensuring tax-deductible donations in the U.S. We serve migrant and refugee communities, donors committed to cultural equity, and the broader public seeking to build bridges of empathy and social change. Role Description We are looking for passionate Communications & Outreach Volunteers to support our mission by helping us expand visibility, engage new audiences, and build strong partnerships with donors, institutions, and communities. Responsibilities • Support social media content creation (Instagram, LinkedIn, Idealist updates). • Assist with drafting newsletters, blog posts, and donor communications. • Help identify and connect with potential partners, volunteers, and donors. • Research media outlets, foundations, and cultural institutions for outreach. • Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute creative ideas. Requirements • Strong interest in arts, social impact, or philanthropy. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required; Spanish/Portuguese a plus). • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. • Familiarity with digital tools (Google Workspace, Canva, social media platforms). • Previous experience in communications, fundraising, or nonprofit work is a plus, but not required.
