Communication & Engagement Specialist

As a Communication & Engagement Specialist, you’ll own the learning communications narrative — clarifying the value of learning, increasing engagement, and supporting a shift towards more decentralised, learner‑driven development.This is a high‑visibility role where your work will make a real impact across a large, regulated organisation. What You’ll Do Strategy & StorytellingCreate and deliver an organisation‑wide communications and engagement strategy for learningDevelop a clear, compelling narrative that explains what learning is available and why it mattersTurn complex ideas into simple, engaging messages Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with senior learning leaders and key stakeholdersInfluence direction, test ideas and align prioritiesBuild strong partnerships across HR, Internal Comms and the wider business Campaigns & DeliveryPlan and deliver communications across multiple internal channelsRun targeted engagement campaigns to boost awareness and participationUse engagement insights to refine and improve communicationsEnsure messaging is consistent, on‑brand and compliant Trusted AdvisorAct as a go‑to communications expert for the learning leadership teamBring fresh thinking and external best practiceOperate confidently within a regulated financial services environment About You You’ll need:Proven experience delivering internal communications in large, complex organisationsA strong track record of engagement or behaviour‑change campaignsConfidence working with senior stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisation skills and the ability to juggle priorities Nice to have:Experience in learning, talent, HR or employee experienceFinancial services or regulated environment exposureExperience with digital channels and engagement analyticsUnderstanding of behaviour change or culture‑focused communications Contract DetailsContract: 6 monthsWorking pattern: Full‑time (part‑time 3–4 days considered)Location: Location agnosticStart: ASAP (flexible for the right person) Why This Role?If you enjoy shaping strategy and getting hands‑on, love clear storytelling, and want to influence how people learn at scale — this role offers real impact, autonomy and visibility.Sound like you?
