Commercial Surety Bond Claims Adjuster | Remote
Our client continues to experience tremendous growth within their Commercial Surety Bond Division. This expansion has necessitated the addition of a skilled Commercial Surety Bond Claims Adjuster to effectively manage a range of specialized bond types to include: License and Permit, Notary, Fiduciary, Court, Public Official, Non-Construction Performance Bonds, Fidelity, and Miscellaneous. This position demands a high level of precision and efficiency in claim resolution, ensuring thoroughness from initiation to closure. This is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate, evaluate, and adjust complex commercial surety bond claims to determine liability and settlement.
Manage and resolve claims involving contractor bonds, motor vehicle claims, and notary bonds, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
Work closely with policyholders, claimants, and agents to provide timely and accurate claim resolutions.
Maintain thorough documentation of claims handling process using the Sims claims system.
Stay informed of changes in legislation and industry practices that may impact claim handling procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to all stakeholders involved in the claims process.
Requirements:
4 to 7+ years of Commercial Surety Bond claims handling experience, with a focus on complex claim scenarios.
Detailed knowledge of various types of surety bond claims such as license and permit, court bonds, motor vehicle, and notary.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to handle multiple cases efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with claimants and stakeholders.
The ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
Additional licenses and jurisdictional knowledge preferred, indicating a broad understanding of the field.
Salary/Benefits:
$95,000 to $125,000+ annual base salary plus lucrative bonuses.
