Commercial Loan Specialist II (Remote OR, CA, WA & ID)

As a Commercial Loan Specialist II, you will provide support, close and administer complex commercial, SBA, municipal and syndication loans and lines within the CBC's and Commercial Middle Office.
In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
Support SBA and Specialty banking groups (Middle Office Only) lending function via Capitalstream including loan support through boarding including the perfection of collateral.
Coordinate with relationship managers, underwriters, borrowers, title officers and other third parties as dictated by transaction.
Order external reports related to specific loan products as required.
Prepare commitment letters. Arrange for payoff of prior liens.
Coordinate loan closings and prepare disbursements.
Responsible for verifying loan system accuracy for boarded loans.
Responsible for ensuring each loan file meets bank and regulatory requirements.
Provide service to specialty lending and SBA lending units. Provide training and coaching of other loan specialists in the Middle Office and CBCs.
Education & Certifications
H.S. Diploma: required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
Experience
2 or more years of related commercial lending support experience; to include experience in processing complex commercial and/or SBA loans required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of state and regulatory requirements pertaining to commercial lending. Understanding of municipal, SBA and syndication lending and ability to coordinate with specialty groups effectively.
Ability to identify document errors and make corrections, while staying within the confines of the credit approval. Ability to perform peer review of loan files with accuracy and attention to detail prior to documentation and post boarding file review.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce accurate work in a deadline driven environment.
Knowledge and ability to process SWAP transactions and to administer flooring lines of credit.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, loan origination systems and other programs needed to support commercial banking.
Ability to train in other middle office support roles to provide coverage as needed.

Targeted starting compensation range is based on location and experience: $26.56 - $31.25
Incentive and commission compensation may be awarded for eligible roles
