Key Responsibilities:
• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial settings, such as office buildings, retail centers, and multi-use facilities.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute commercial electrical projects.
• Install, connect, and maintain electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting in accordance with project requirements.
• Bend and install conduit, including EMT and flexible conduit, to protect electrical wiring.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in commercial settings, providing efficient, code-compliant solutions.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards, local and national electrical codes, and safety regulations.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members, contractors, and commercial clients to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
• Document all work performed, including time, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in commercial electrical systems.
Requirements:
• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in commercial electrical work.
• Proficiency in bending and installing conduit, including EMT and flexible conduit.
• Experience working with commercial lighting, control systems, and panel installations.
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and professionalism.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in various commercial environments, with a flexible schedule.
• Ability to pass a background screening.
• A vision for career growth and leadership in a small, expanding company.
• Experience in Industrial and Residential is a plus, as we work in all three sectors..
