Colleague HR Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Colleague HR Consultant to join our collaborative and innovative consulting team. Bring your strong communication skills, passion for higher education, and professional Ellucian Colleague (formerly Datatel) HR expertise to assist our clients’ ERP integrations, customizations/de-customizations, and scripts to ensure clean data reporting and operational excellence. As a contract consultant, you’ll have the opportunity to work with multiple client institutions and projects as we assist campuses in transforming and customizing their Colleague instance to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy. Business Process Review and Optimization Consultant for College & University Colleague Human Resource Systems working with our teams in assisting our clients in fully leveraging their ERP/CRM, and HRIS systems feature and functionality. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the business processes associated with the employment lifecycle including but not limited to: Position Management, Recruitment & Selection, Hiring, On-boarding, Faculty Credentialing, Faculty Workload, Adjunct Management, Benefits, Time & Leave Reporting, Performance Management, Payroll, Analytics & Reporting. The candidate will review and implement within higher education the above listed HR functional areas.TravelUp to 50 %RequirementsDemonstrated ability to lead organizational change and the full adoption of technology to enable organizational operations and efficiency5+ years’ experience leading, managing or directing HR functional areas of an organization and/or with ERP/CRM implementationSolid leadership skills, including facilitating diverse groups, creating consensus building and preparing the organization and individuals for change and ongoing continuous improvementBusiness process review experience, including reviewing and recommending policy changes, staffing, and organizational alignment changes, and realignment of roles and responsibilities when appropriateDemonstration of superior communication skills and the ability to provide a consultative approach to end clientsDemonstrated experience facilitating the diverse needs of functional areas, students, faculty, staff and leadership across higher education organizations.Demonstrated ability to map current and desired processes with detail showing the various process steps and who is performing each step.This includes mapping out very complex and at times dysfunctional processes that have arisen over time in an organization.PreferredMinimum of 5 years related experience with demonstrated experience in the higher education environment.College Degree Required, Masters or above PreferredHands on Colleague experience requiredPrior work as: Human Resource Business Analyst working with ERP/CRM products
