Job Title: Collaborations Systems EngineerLocation: 100% Work from homeDuration: 4 Months Contract with Possibility of extensionPrimary Skills:Microsoft suite administration & Collaboration Security frameworks including Exchange Online & TeamsPowerShell, PowerBI, APIs, Webservices, Python, C++, JavaScript, Power PlatformJob Description:This role is centered on designing, administering, and optimizing collaboration systems, with a strong focus on Microsoft collaboration tools (Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, and related integrations).The engineer will act as both a technical expert and an automation specialist, ensuring that collaboration platforms are secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.The responsibilities combine technical administration, automation, and solution integration, as well as cross-team collaboration.The engineer is expected to work independently and virtually, with strong problem-solving and communication skills to drive projects and resolve complex issues.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and optimize collaboration systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance, capacity planning, and scalability.Record and manage changes, configurations, incidents, problems, and processes.Ensure system security, implement standards, and respond to failures or performance issues.Produce performance, capacity, availability, and security reports for senior management.Write technical documentation and collaborate on ongoing issues and projects.Manage vendor relationships and oversee outsourced services.Install, configure, integrate, and test new system components and applications.Maintain automation scripts and enhance functionality.Follow industry best practices and quality assurance standards.Perform maintenance or upgrades with minimal business impact, including on-call duty.Analyze systems and participate in design and engineering projects.Configure prototypes, deliver products, and manage solution implementation and vendor performance.Engage in team activities to support Service and Project Managers.Qualifications:5-7+yrs technology support experience.5+ years of experience in Administration and implementation of Collaboration Tools.Extensive experience with Microsoft suite administration and Collaboration Security frameworks including Exchange Online and Teams.Extensive experience using to build and deploy services using: PowerShell, Power BI, APIs, Webservices, Python, C++, JavaScript, Power Platform.Foster a collaborative and constructive atmosphere, exhibiting optimism in challenging situations.Decompose complex problems into manageable components, offering succinct solutions.4+yrs Experience building efficiency workflows to deliver desirable outcomes.Successful track record in working on multi-functional team projects.Knowledge of other Collab platforms for systems integration and automation support.Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
