Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCognitive is seeking a Technical Writer who will be responsible for creating technical documents and manuals, maintains and documents meeting outcomes and action items, explains complex information in a clear and concise manner, and work with our development teams to ensure accuracy of product descriptions.This position is Contingent based upon contract award.Duties:Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content Manage updates and revisions to technical literatureManage and maintains meeting documentationRequired Skills: Experience in documenting technical content, including software specifications, product release notes, and product user guides Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in MS OfficeStrong attention to detailSkilled at prioritization and multi-taskingRequired Education, Experience, and Clearance:Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for educationProven experience working in a technical writing positionAbility to obtain a Position of Public Trust - Medium Background Investigation (MBI)US Citizenship requiredNice to Have:Experience supporting healthcare applicationsExperience in Agile Software DevelopmentExperience working on Government contracts
