CNA Theory Instructor
Job Title: CNA Theory Instructor (Online) Schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Online Instruction) Location: Remote/Online Pay rate: $30-$33/hour About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Theory Instructor to teach CNA coursework online. This role focuses on delivering engaging, comprehensive instruction to students preparing for CNA certification. The instructor will guide students through theoretical concepts, ensuring they gain the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in both the classroom and clinical settings. Responsibilities • Deliver CNA theory instruction virtually via online platforms. • Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and course materials aligned with state requirements. • Provide clear explanations of nursing assistant concepts, procedures, and patient care standards. • Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and participation. • Offer constructive feedback and academic support to students. • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance. • Collaborate with program administrators to ensure curriculum compliance. Qualifications • Current LVN license with experience in CNA instruction. • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. • Prior teaching or training experience preferred. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Comfortable with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.). • Passion for education and mentoring future healthcare professionals.
