Job Summary As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect - Healthcare, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing innovative AWS cloud solutions for healthcare organizations in the United States. You will work closely with our customers and partners to deliver proof-of-concept projects, topical workshops, and lead implementation projects, focusing on key customer solutions such as web applications, enterprise applications, HPC, batch processing, and big data, archiving, and disaster recovery. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructures for healthcare organizations Collaborate with customers and partners to understand their technical requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs Lead implementation projects and deliver proof-of-concept projects, topical workshops, and other professional services engagements Work closely with Epic systems and other healthcare technologies to integrate and optimize cloud solutions Travel to client locations to deliver professional services as needed Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, and apply this knowledge to customer solutions Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for cloud infrastructure architecture in the healthcare sector Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS or similar cloud platforms Experience working with Epic systems and other healthcare technologies Strong technical skills in cloud infrastructure architecture, including experience with virtualization, networking, and storage Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and partners Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the healthcare sector, with a focus on healthcare IT and cloud computing Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and more Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, such as CI/CD and automation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect - Healthcare, you will need: Strong technical skills in cloud infrastructure architecture and design Excellent communication and project management skills Ability to work effectively with customers and partners Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits AWS is committed to helping our employees develop into better-rounded professionals.
