Total Number of Openings3About the position:Chevron invites applications for the role of Senior Cloud Engineer within our Desktop & Mobility Design team in India. This position has responsibility for the critical platforms, tools, and capabilities that provide on and off-premise Cloud infrastructure services to every Chevron business units and sites. This position will provide broad exposure to the application of technology to enable business with many opportunities for growth and professional development for the candidate.Key responsibilities:Leading the design and development of complex web solutions.• Mentor junior and senior developers and provide guidance on best practices.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Deploy, and manage Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devicesUnderstanding of Windows Autopilot for zero-touch provisioning and lifecycle managementConfigure device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and Settings Catalog policiesManage Application deployment (Win32, MSIX, UWP, Store apps) and app lifecycleSupport BYOD, COPE, and COBO device scenarios using MDM/MAM policiesTroubleshoot device enrolment, sync, app deployment, and compliance issuesUnderstanding of Conditional Access policies tied to device complianceUnderstanding of Endpoint security policies (Defender AV, BitLocker, Firewall, ASR rules)Understanding and managing certificates, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and custom OMA-URI configurationsEnsure alignment with enterprise security, compliance, and governance standards..Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and able to demonstrate high proficiency in programming fundamentals.• At least 5 years of proven working experience as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.• Skilled in Angular and/or other frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET Razor Pages, React, Vue.js).• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.• Skilled in consuming RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.• Experience implementing security best practices in web development.• Skilled in recognizing, applying, and implementing design patterns and best practices for web development to enhance code quality, maintainability, and scalability. (MVC, REST, SOLID principles, DDD, etc.)• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).• Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.• Excellent communication and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related fieldTotal year of experience 5-10 years with Cloud experience on AzureMust have Microsoft MD-102, SC-900 and AZ104 and AZ900 CertificationExperience in deploying solutions in on-premises and cloud-based environments.In-depth knowledge of digital tools and software platforms used in connected worker solutions, including Azure DevOps and Microsoft O365/M365 services.Ability to collect, analyse, and utilize data from connected devices to drive product development and improve performance.Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and manage service delivery through IT managed service providers.What we can offer youEverything we do at Chevron is guided by our values and our commitment to The Chevron Way.
