Your Mission as a Cloud Engineer
As a Cloud Engineer at Vodeno, you'll play a critical role in shaping our cloud infrastructure and ensuring the seamless delivery of our services. Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with our Cloud Team and software developers to design and build fault-tolerant applications and infrastructure
Defining container-based and sandbox deployment strategies
Supporting cloud integrations, pipelines, and upgrades
Developing automation tools to ensure high availability and scalability
Guarding our infrastructure through enhanced security, redundancy, and monitoring
Improving and monitoring our CI/CD environment, server, and network environments
Supporting disaster recovery, backup, redundancy, and capacity planning activities
Educating and coaching Vodeno engineers on best practices
Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining our enterprise logging platform using Elastic Stack
Contributing to the improvement of the Elastic Stack ecosystem
Developing and managing high-volume data ingestions and real-time data flow processes
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed
To excel as a Cloud Engineer at Vodeno, you'll need:
Excellent communication skills in English (and Polish, although we're open to non-Polish speakers willing to learn)
Cloud experience, preferably with GCP, and a strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Linux administration expertise, including configuration and troubleshooting
Programming skills in Java, Python, Go, or shell scripting
Operational experience with multilayer IT systems, application monitoring, and performance analysis
Hands-on knowledge of automation and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
Experience with Apache Kafka, Helm charts, ELK stack, Kibana, and Gitlab
Knowledge of project implementation methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
Strong prioritization and troubleshooting skills
Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana, including performance tuning and cluster management
