Job Description:
Requirements:
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
ā¢ 10+ years of experience as a Cloud Developer or similar role (Software Developer)
ā¢ Expertise in using Terraform to develop, test, and deploy cloud infrastructure as code
ā¢ Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python )
ā¢ Expertise with one of the Cloud Platforms( Azure or GCP), Majority of BNY cloud work loads leverage Azure today, but looking for multi-cloud exposure.
ā¢ Familiarity with Azure Compute, Functions, AAD, AKS, VPNGateways, Firewall, Storage services, Monitoring and Logging.
ā¢ Familiarity with DevOps & CI/CD tools(Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Gitlab, Github)
ā¢ Familiarity with API and software development tools, frameworks, and methodologies
ā¢ Hands on designing and developing solutions using Azure AI APIs (eg: OpenAI, Document Intelligence, AI Search, etc) also a big plus
ā¢ Solid background on systems architecture/design,
ā¢ Proficiency with cloud networking and security services
ā¢ Excellent troubleshooting skills
ā¢ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Hands on experience developing large scale, secure, resilient and cost effective solutions
ā¢ Experience with cloud-based technologies and services including Kubernetes, Serverless, Cloud Messaging.
ā¢ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges in platform design and development.
ā¢ Experience designing and implementing APIs
ā¢ Basic utilization of cloud database services (SQL, NoSQL, Azure Cache for Redis) and UNIX/Windows
ā¢ Consistent contributions to open-source software projects
ā¢ Curiosity to solve new problems and keep learning new technologies
ā¢ Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
ā¢ Active certifications for Terraform, Azure, AWS or GCP
