Location: New Orleans, LA

Description:

A banner enterprise of the Tulane Department of Neurology is the Healthy Brain Aging Initiative (HBAI). This initiative includes a dedicated team of neurologists, neuropsychologists/psychometrists, advanced practice providers, social workers, and neuroscientists, aiming to promote healthy brain aging through its Center for Alzheimer's Prevention, its Center for Memory Disorders, and its Center for Parkinson's Disease. ? Comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of patients with other neurological disorders, where neurocognitive, neurobehavioral, or neuropsychiatric manifestations are suspected.
? Conduct neuropsychological assessments of research subjects in support of the population health initiatives and clinical trials research of the Tulane Healthy Brain Aging Initiative, and more broadly of the Department of Neurology and Center for Clinical Neurosciences. Submit grants for external funding support to NIH and similar sources, to offset salary expenses and to grow Neurology research revenues.
