About the Position
We're seeking an exceptionally talented and passionate Chat Support Associate to join our growing team at arenaflex. As a key member of our support team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive and delightful day-to-day experience for every user leveraging our platform for their supply ordering needs. You'll engage with our vibrant community of veterinary professionals, providing timely and effective support through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to user inquiries via live chat, email, and phone in a timely and professional manner, providing exceptional customer support and resolving issues efficiently
Troubleshoot issues quickly and explain scenarios/solutions in an easily digestible and effective manner, ensuring that our users can navigate our platform with ease
Handle various daily and weekly admin responsibilities, such as proactive account management, item issue reports, item reviews, credit approvals, and more, to ensure seamless operations
Collaborate cross-functionally with our engineering, partner, and corporate teams to provide valuable insights on feature requests and recommendations for enhancements to our tools, driving continuous improvement and growth
Work with vendor and industry partners to streamline communication and alerts between systems, fostering strong relationships and ensuring a cohesive user experience
Contribute to the development and expansion of processes to streamline support workflows, leveraging your expertise and creativity to drive innovation and efficiency


Essential Qualifications

1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support and resolving complex issues
2 Year Associate's Degree or 4 Year College Degree, demonstrating a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
Experience in chat support preferred, with a strong understanding of the principles and best practices of effective customer support
Patient and compassionate when handling difficult situations, with a calm and composed demeanor that puts users at ease
Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines with ease
A strong desire to learn and help our customers succeed, with a growth mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional support
A positive attitude and one-for-all team mentality, with excellent collaboration skills and a willingness to work closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals


Preferred Qualifications

Tech/start-up work experience, with a strong understanding of the principles and best practices of innovative and fast-paced environments
Knowledge of intercom and/or experience with other chat platforms, with a strong foundation in the tools and technologies that drive exceptional customer support
Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with a self-motivated and disciplined approach to work that ensures seamless collaboration and communication

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $50,000/year - $80,000/year, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus, equity, and other incentives.
