Our mission and passion are to advance the novel science of histotripsy and its powerful benefits, bringing meaningful and transformational change to physicians and their patients.Location: Remote / Field - Ideally candidates will live in the Cleveland, OH metro area.Travel: This position requires travel (flying & driving) within the assigned geographical sales territory up to 75% of the time, with frequent overnight hotel stays (2-3 nights/week).Salary Range: $135,000 base pay, plus quarterly variable compensation plan.Position SummaryThe Clinical Specialist (CS) plays a critical role in supporting successful clinical implementation and adoption of HistoSonics technology. This individual provides expert procedural support, ensures clinical excellence during live cases, and partners closely with commercial teams to drive sustainable growth. The CS works cross-functionally to optimize workflow integration, champion clinical best practices, and deliver exceptional results for both clinicians and patients.Position ExpectationsServe as a clinical expert during system implementation, physician onboarding, and live procedure support.Partner with Account Managers to ensure alignment on account readiness, utilization goals, and growth opportunities.Lead on-site execution during new site launches and technology integrations, ensuring a seamless clinical experience.Identify and share clinical insights to enhance performance, workflow, and overall outcomes.Support cross-functional collaboration between Clinical, Commercial, and R&D teams to advance adoption and procedural excellence.Maintain strong professional relationships with key physicians, clinical staff, and internal stakeholders.Drive ongoing optimization at existing sites to support procedural growth and sustainability.CompetenciesImplementation & LaunchCoordinate and execute successful site start-ups and procedural launches.Provide high-quality in-person and remote procedural support.Clinical ExcellenceDemonstrate deep procedural knowledge and expertise in imaging and therapy delivery.Ensure consistent adherence to clinical and safety protocols.Drive Sustainable GrowthIdentify opportunities to expand procedural utilization and account performance.Collaborate with sales partners to align clinical insights with strategic growth initiatives.AM CollaborationServe as a trusted partner to Account Managers, jointly developing and executing site-specific action plans.Support cross-functional alignment and communication between commercial and clinical teams.Knowledge and SkillsStrong understanding of clinical workflows, physician engagement, and procedural execution in complex healthcare environments.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust across all levels.Analytical and adaptable; able to assess real-time challenges and provide effective solutions.Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.Must demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and a commitment to excellence.Working knowledge of compliance standards including HIPAA, Sunshine Act, and company interaction guidelines.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, biomedical engineering, or a related field preferred 3+ years of experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or interventional clinical support (imaging, ultrasound, or robotic experience preferred).Proven ability to drive clinical adoption and support procedural success.Willingness to travel up to 75% (domestic), including overnights as required.Must meet all hospital credentialing requirements (background check, drug screen, immunizations).Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a field-based sales territory environment. This role requires a personal vehicle for field travel with a valid Driver’s License, a monthly car allowance will be provided for the use of the personal vehicle for work role.
