Job Posting Summary
Baptist Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Clinical Float Pharmacist to join our team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time, various shift, opportunity working days and evenings shifts floating between Decentral and Central Pharmacy. This candidate is expected to participate in the teaching programs of Baptist Medical Center including the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency program as well as educational activities such as precepting students affiliated with several Colleges of Pharmacy in the state of Florida.
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:
? Entering orders with great accuracy
? Checking technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
? Supervising technicians and serving on committees as assigned.
? Answering questions for all health care professionals
? Serving as a consultant for members of the medical staff
? Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics service.
This candidate will need to be licensed as a Pharmacist within the State of Florida for hire.
