Clinical Consultant – Cardiovascular Location: Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham, United Kingdom. Position Summary: Abiomed, part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, seeks a Clinical Consultant with a focus on Impella® products. The role provides training, clinical guidance, support, and commercial strategy execution across the North of England. Key Responsibilities Provide training and clinical guidance to current and future users of Impella® products. Execute the commercial strategy of Abiomed within the region.Improve patient outcomes through professional education and consultation. Supervise all centers where patients are treated with Impella® products. Report clinically relevant data and document results. Collaborate closely with sales colleagues. Qualifications Clinical and/or technical training completed, ideally as a healthcare assistant, nurse, or clinical perfusionist. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in direct patient care in the ICU, cardiac surgery operating room, or cardiology cath lab.Minimum 3 years of successful commercial experience in the MedTech industry. Strong ability to develop and promote long-term customer relationships. Good communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a team. High flexibility and 80% willingness to travel within the region and as needed for emergency support in the rest of the UK. Driving licence (required). Capability to lift up to 30 kg. Standing for long hours during procedures and conferences. Additional Requirements Located in the geographic area.Be able to communicate ideas and information clearly and effectively.
