We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinic Technician, Dialysis to join our team at Henry Ford Health System in Macomb, MI. As a Clinic Technician, Dialysis, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our interdisciplinary team in delivering exceptional dialysis services.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor patients on an ongoing basis and communicate information to the appropriate team member
Provide direct care to patients on hemodialysis under the supervision of nursing staff
Respond to emergency situations and reinforce patient education
Document patient care and observations, and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with other departments, agencies, or service organizations to ensure seamless patient care
Demonstrate technical and task-oriented skills, including cannulation, machine setups, and disinfection
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician and under nursing supervision

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Science preferred
Certification as a dialysis technician must be obtained within designated timelines and maintained in accordance with federal regulations
