Client Service Representative

The Client Service Representative, Employee Benefits acts as the primary liaison between clients, plan members, insurance carriers, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service on group benefit plans.ResponsibilitiesAssist Consultants with all aspects of servicing group and individual clientsAct as a liaison between Consultants and Clients, insurance carriers and plan membersAnswer policy and coverage related questions/requests from clients and insurance carriersCommunicate with clients and insurance carriers regarding plan changes, amendmentsAttend occasional client meetings with ConsultantsConduct employee education sessions and client administration orientation sessionsCreate marketing materials and presentations for ConsultantsMaintain accurate renewal calendar, communicate renewal timelines to ConsultantsProcess client communication documents such as renewals, proposals, claims experience reports, general correspondenceMaintain electronic client filesEnsure accuracy of policy documentation received from insurersAssist with other duties as assignedSkillsStrong Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent attention to detailStrong critical thinking, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlinesStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to adapt to both routine and challenging environmentsComfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, including senior managementPositive attitude and team-oriented mindset1-2 years of relevant experienceAccounting background (e.g. accounts receivable) and working knowledge of EPIC is an assetBenefitsExtended health benefitsDisability insuranceRRSP matchingPaid-time-off benefitsEligible bonusesCommissions for some positionsCompany OverviewHUB International is an insurance brokerage company that offers employee benefits, business, and personal insurance products and services.
