Ā *Client Officer Role Description**
About the Opportunity
The Client Officer assists the Client Manager in supervising and participating in the operations, client service, and internal sales activities of the branch. They monitor and maintain operations procedures for compliance to regulations; plan and administer colleague schedules and internal workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Client Service and Operations: Functions as part of a cohesive unit to service client transactions and is responsible for upholding the operational integrity of the branch as defined by management and bank policy.
Ā Risk Management and Loss Prevention: Is one of the experts in risk management and loss prevention, utilizing an organized approach to manage and prioritize daily activities to meet all deadlines.
Ā Cross-Selling and Sales: Promotes and facilitates cross-selling of bank services to existing and potential clients in order to meet established branch sales and referral goals.
Ā Colleague Development: Supports and partners with the CM to proactively develop colleagues to achieve results and accurately assess strengths, providing feedback, mentoring, and opportunities for development.
Ā New Account Process: Fully functional in delivering all components related to new accounts, including account maintenance, service requests, and risk management.
Requirements:
Ā Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience required.
Ā Minimum 2 years experience in a banking environment required.
Ā Minimum 2 years of basic computer experience (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Ā *Must-Have Skills and Knowledge:**
Ā Good knowledge of Bank policies and procedures and regulatory compliance.
Ā Working knowledge of Bank products and services.
Ā General knowledge of Bank audit procedures.
Ā Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ā Ability to organize and prioritize work.
