Clinicians engage with individuals who have been impacted by a crisis and offer immediate behavioral health support and coaching. Clinical Intake/ConsultationConduct clinical intakes via telephone to assess behavioral health needs and determine appropriate level of careAssist with care triaging and provider matching Provide direct behavioral health support via telephone to individuals who are requesting clinical servicesManage emergent clinical situations as needed, including safety planning and/or crisis intervention support via telephone to individualsInteract with individuals to assist them in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal or vocational development and adjustmentProviding advice on best practices and implementation for individual behavioral health, and workplace resilience and wellbeingConsult with or provide consultation to other doctors, therapists, or clinicians regarding careConsult with or provide consultation to internal and external management teamsCommunicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers and other external sourcesMaintain collaborative relationships with coworkers, customers, and clientsInterpret the meaning of clinical information for non-cliniciansConsistently meet department clinical billable standards for clinical intake/consultation workCrisis Response Essential FunctionsProvide direct behavioral health support to individuals, groups and organizations who have experienced a disruptive eventMeet department standards related to crisis response volumes, realizing the unpredictable nature of these types of requestsProvide guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems-, or process-related topicsUtilize various methods of behavioral health service delivery including telephone, video, and on-site Communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers and other external sources.Provide consultation to individuals and groups regarding problems, such as stress and trauma, to modify behavior or to improve personal, social, or vocational adjustment.Provide advice on best practices and implementation for individual behavioral health, and workplace resilience and wellbeingProvide consultation to other clinicians regarding best practices in psychological first aid and disruptive event managementMaintain collaborative relationships with coworkers, customers, and clientsComplete reports within designated time framesOther Essential Functions Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your workDevelop, design, or create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or productsEncourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team membersConsult reference material, such as textbooks, manuals, or journals to enhance learningConduct presentations and trainings for customers and clients on behavioral health topics and servicesParticipate in department and company meetings, as requestedOther duties as assignedOvertime/additional hours may be mandatory at times due to changes in workloadFlexible Schedule – Schedule will change based on company need. This position is subject to nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotationRequirementsRequired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disordersKnowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions, and for career counseling and guidanceKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.The starting pay range for this position is $27-$30 per hour. The position’s pay range represents the national average pay for similar roles.
