Cleared Senior DevSecOps Engineer - Hybrid in Arlington, VA
Role Overview:
Design, automate, and secure mission-critical private cloud infrastructure supporting advanced cybersecurity and defense programs. The ideal candidate will excel in infrastructure automation, compliance-as-code, and Zero Trust implementation across complex, hybrid environments.
Required Qualifications:
ā¢ 5+ years in DevSecOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Automation
ā¢ Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
ā¢ Proficient in Kubernetes and Docker deployment and operations
ā¢ Strong enterprise Linux and network administration background
ā¢ Demonstrated experience hardening systems to STIG or equivalent baselines
ā¢ Familiarity with automated monitoring and compliance (OpenSCAP, Prometheus)
ā¢ Effective collaboration across development, security, and IT functions
ā¢ Active U.S. Security Clearance, minimum Secret.
Desired Skills:
ā¢ Experience with private/hybrid clouds (VMware, OpenStack)
ā¢ Knowledge of secure cloud architecture (AWS GovCloud, Azure, GCP)
ā¢ Familiarity with policy-as-code and automated security scanning tools
ā¢ Understanding of SDN and segmentation strategies
ā¢ Experience with centralized logging and metrics (ELK, Graylog, Grafana)
ā¢ Background with thin clients or PCoIP/VNC remote environments
ā¢ Working knowledge of NIST 800-171, 800-53, and RMF frameworks
ā¢ Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go
