Base Salary: Up to $230,000 + Billable Bonus Structure
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Class Action Attorney with a strong background in Employment Law to join our growing litigation team. This is an exciting opportunity for a litigator who has taken class action matters from inception through resolution and is passionate about employment-related legal issues.
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Lead and manage employment class action litigation from start to finish, including:
⢠Initial case assessment and client intake
⢠Drafting pleadings and motions
⢠Discovery management
⢠Depositions and court appearances
⢠Settlement negotiations and/or trial
⢠Analyze complex employment law issues including wage & hour (FLSA, state labor laws), discrimination, retaliation, misclassification, and other workplace claims.
⢠Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to strategize and execute litigation plans.
⢠Maintain and exceed billable hour requirements.
⢠Keep clients informed and involved throughout the litigation process.
⢠Stay updated on emerging trends and changes in employment and class action law.
Qualifications:
⢠J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in [Insert relevant jurisdiction].
⢠Minimum of 2 years of experience in class action litigation, with demonstrated experience managing matters from inception to resolution.
⢠Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment law (plaintiff or defense side).
⢠Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
⢠Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
⢠Excellent organizational, case management, and communication skills.
