The Client Manager will manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, delivering expert service and driving client satisfaction while collaborating with internal teams to optimize coverage and support new business efforts.ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage a ~$4M annual GWP book of commercial insurance clients, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisorDeliver proactive, timely, and expert service that drives client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnershipAdvise clients on evolving risk profiles, analyze coverage needs, and recommend tailored insurance solutions aligned with their business goalsEngage in retention and renewal efforts by leading the end-to-end renewal process and proactively identifying opportunities to round out accountsDrive expansion by surfacing upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and coordinating closely with producers to grow your portfolioCollaborate with the Placements team to secure optimal coverage structures, bring client context to market strategy, and ensure seamless executionSupport new business by partnering with Sales during late-stage deals and onboarding to ensure a smooth client handoff and setupContribute to internal process and tooling development by surfacing insights that improve scalability and efficiencySkills1-2 years of Account Management experience within the Commercial Insurance space, ideally with exposure to technology companiesActive/Current Property and Casualty LicenseStrong track record of retention & growth of complex Middle Market accountsStrong preference for prior working experience in the following commercial lines: Business Owners Package (BOP) and GL/Property, Cyber/Tech E&O, Management Liability (D&O/EPLI, etc.), Workers' CompensationStrong communication and organizational skillsDependable, coachable, proactive, positive, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skillsAble to deal well with ambiguity and maintain composure in complex situationsStrong Sales, Communication, and Marketing skills are critical; must be able to demonstrate success in managing tight time frames and high volumes of workExposure to and passion for early-stage startups and/or high-growth environmentsA background in handling Technology, Fintech, AI, Web3, Manufacturing and/or Health & Life Science accountsBenefitsCompetitive compensation and equity packagesHealth, dental, and vision insuranceParental leaveFlexible vacation timeWellness allowanceTechnology allowanceCompany-sponsored personal and professional developmentL&D: Partnerships with Ethena and monthly Lunch & LearnsWellbeing: access to many wellbeing perks, including Peloton, Fetch, OneMedical, Headspace care+, etc.Caregiver Support: company seed into the dependent care FSA and company sponsored Care.com membership.Regular performance reviews: Vouch conducts regular performance discussions with all team members, offering goal setting and check-ins, development discussions, and promotion opportunities.Company OverviewInsurance... sounds slow, old-fashioned, and unexciting.
