As a Claim Manager or Technical Claim Manager, you will play a crucial role in handling New York Casualty General Liability and commercial excess liability large loss claims. This position requires a proactive approach to achieve optimal payout results by resolving claims fairly, expeditiously, and economically. You will assess coverage issues, issue appropriate documentation, and manage outside counsel on litigated claims, all while adhering to RLI's Best Practices. Your expertise in handling complex casualty claims, particularly those related to New York Labor Law, will be essential in this role. We are looking for candidates with a strong educational background and extensive experience in casualty claims management. Responsibilities
Handle New York Casualty GL and commercial excess liability large loss claims proactively to achieve optimum payout results.

Requirements
B.A. plus 6+ years of handling casualty claims, with a concentration in the handling of complex casualty and New York Labor Law claims.

Extensive experience in handling complex GL and commercial excess liability claims, including the management of outside counsel.

Knowledge of New York Construction/Labor Law statutes impacting the handling and evaluation of such claims.
