Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Design, implement, and optimize ultra-low latency (ULL) network solutions to support high-frequency trading.
ā¢ Configure and manage high-performance Cisco networking environments with a focus on low-latency performance.
ā¢ Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform deep packet analysis, and optimize routing/switching configurations.
ā¢ Deploy and maintain multicast, QoS, and network automation strategies for latency-sensitive applications.
ā¢ Monitor, analyze, and fine-tune network performance using tools such as Corvil, Wireshark, and IXIA.
ā¢ Collaborate with trading teams, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors to enhance network efficiency.
ā¢ Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with financial industry standards.
ā¢ Document network designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for internal knowledge sharing.
ā¢ Required Skills & Experience:
ā¢ 7-10 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on ultra-low latency environments.
ā¢ CCIE certification (Enterprise, Data Center, or Service Provider) required.
ā¢ Expertise in Cisco Nexus, Arista, and Juniper networking technologies.
ā¢ In-depth knowledge of low-latency routing, switching, multicast, and TCP/IP protocols.
ā¢ Experience optimizing Layer 1-3 networking for electronic trading environments.
ā¢ Hands-on experience with Corvil, SolarWinds, or similar network performance tools.
ā¢ Proficiency in network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
ā¢ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Experience in high-frequency trading (HFT), financial markets, or electronic trading infrastructure.
ā¢ Knowledge of Linux-based network performance tuning.
ā¢ Familiarity with FPGA-based networking and ultra-low latency hardware solutions.
ā¢ Prior experience in financial services or large-scale enterprise networking.
