Teaching Responsibilities:
Ā Lesson planning and preparation before each class.
Ā Monitor attendance and keep up-to-date records and paperwork.
Ā Deal with problems and emergencies should they arise.
Ā Work effectively with our teachers to deliver excellence in the student learning experience.
Ā Attend teacher meetings to develop curriculum and lesson plans.
Job Requirements:
Ā Keywords: passion & work authorization.
Ā Enthusiastic, confident, and energetic about working with all language levels.
Ā Have the ability to create a positive learning environment.
Ā Highly organized, detail-oriented, and punctual.
Ā Knowledge of communicative language teaching techniques for adults and young learners.
Ā Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese Ā spoken and written.
Ā Knowing traditional Chinese or Cantonese is a plus.
Ā Proper work authorization permitting work in the U.S.
Plus:
Ā A degree is important, but we believe more than that.
Ā Prior teaching experience is preferred but not necessary.
Ā Knowing a Chinese dialect.
Ā Fluency in another language is always a plus.
Ā Computer skills are preferred. Only knowing how to use blackboard and chalk is also fine.
