Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) – SONHEI - Contract to Hire

We are building SONHEI, an early-stage startup that uses technology and artificial intelligence to help people break out of autopilot, reconnect with their dreams, and turn them into clear, achievable plans. We are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the construction of our brand, growth strategy, and community from the ground up — someone who thinks big, but knows how to start simple. This role is strategic, but also hands-on in the early stages. We are looking for someone who wants to build, not just manage. ⸻ CMO Responsibilities • Define and lead SONHEI’s marketing and growth strategy • Build brand positioning, narrative, and value proposition • Lead content, channels, and user acquisition strategy • Work closely with the founder on key business decisions • Define metrics, growth hypotheses, and experimentation cycles • Structure marketing to scale (processes, team, and culture) • Ensure message consistency across product, brand, and community ⸻ Profile We’re Looking For • Strong experience in marketing, branding, growth, or startup leadership • Ability to combine strategic vision with practical execution • Strong written communication and storytelling skills • Experimentation mindset and fast-learning approach • Genuine interest in purpose-driven and human-centered projects • Maturity to act as a leader, not just an executor Previous experience as a CMO, Head of Marketing, or Founder is highly valued. ⸻ How We Work • Close partnership with the founder • Real autonomy in marketing decisions • Culture of trust, clarity, and ownership • Opportunity to build marketing “from zero, the right way” To Start the Conversation If possible, please share: 1.
