Job Description Summary
As Chief Architect with Fleet Solutions, you will provide leadership on architecture and design for the Fleet Solutions portfolio, collaborating with senior architects and stakeholders across the organization to build an architecture roadmap and long-term strategy.

This is a hybrid role. We expect this resource to be in our Waukesha office 2-3 per week on average.

The salary range for this position is 185,600.00 - 232,000.00 - 278,400.00 USD . The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for variable incentive compensation.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities
• Lead technical discussions relative to future architecture direction across the solution portfolio.
• Analyze, design, and develop an architecture roadmap and implementation plan based upon business and customer needs.
• Lead and drive integration with product teams to adopt and deploy solutions driven by the wing-to-wing architecture vision.
• Evaluate design options and identify gaps along with recommendations to address.
• Evaluate technology trends to keep the architecture/design in line with new opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together to build efficient solutions.
• Coach and mentor team members.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
• 15+ years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product OR Master’s degree with 10 years of experience.
• 5+ years full-time experience in enterprise software architecture – emphasis on implementation of scalable cloud/cloud native technical solutions in products.

Desired Characteristics
• Experience with digital solution concepts such as cybersecurity, SW virtualization, SW containerization, connectivity protocols, microservice architecture, application design, data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI).
• Understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, especially on meeting performance, scalability, and reliability CTQs.
• Experience with Healthcare domain.
• Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $185,600.00-$278,400.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
