Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the division's reputation, growth, and success
Provide visionary leadership, guidance, and mentorship to division members, including attendings, residents, and staff
Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient use of resources, and optimal patient care
Maintain surgical privileges, stay clinically active, and participate in emergency and trauma on-call responsibilities
Collaborate with departmental leaders, hospital committees, and external partners to advance neurosurgery research, education, and innovation
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies
Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
Board certification by the American Board of Neurological Surgery
Minimum 2 years of experience in neurosurgery practice, teaching, and research
Proven administrative experience, including supervision of clinical staff
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, making accurate medical judgments and decisions
