Job Overview:
We are seeking warm, reliable, and passionate yoga teachers who are not only skilled in guiding mindful movement but also excited to co-create a nurturing, welcoming space for students of all backgrounds. Whether you specialize in vinyasa, restorative, prenatal, trauma-informed practices—or something in between—we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead engaging and accessible yoga classes in your area(s) of expertise
• Provide thoughtful modifications and variations to accommodate diverse bodies and experience levels
• Create an inclusive, supportive, and nonjudgmental class environment
• Contribute to the growing community at Root & Rise through warmth and presence
• Arrive on time, communicate clearly, and uphold the studio’s values and vision
What We’re Looking For:
• Certified yoga teacher (RYT 200 minimum preferred)
• Experience teaching group classes (studio, gym, community, or online)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for building community and a team-player mindset
• Commitment to accessibility, equity, and continuing growth
• CPR certification a plus
Class Types We’re Hiring For:
• Vinyasa / Flow
• Gentle & Restorative
• Prenatal / Postnatal
• Yoga for Beginners
• Sculpt and Inversions
• Somatic Movement / Trauma-Informed Yoga
• Meditation & Breathwork
• Dance Cardio or Mindful Movement
Compensation:
Competitive class rate based on experience and class type. Opportunities to grow as our schedule and offerings expand.
