The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a(n) Category Advisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Partner Closely with the Walmart Merchant Team Utilize insights that will influence the direction of the Walmart Category Drive execution of... the Walmart Merchant Team’s strategy Dive Deep into category and retailer data to support Walmart on a daily basis Must be willing to be on-call for Walmart Merchant Team’s requests Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Five (5) years of category experience with sales, marketing, category management, shopper/consumer insights, customer-facing account management, analytics and/or trade funding in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Strong analytical skills and experience aggregating internal and external data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Luminate, sales data) of information to build an influential selling story Tools including JDA/Blue Yonder, Cantactix, Luminate, Numerator experience Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications; particularly strong Excel skills in pivots, formulas, large data sets, etc. Modular drawing experience Work location: Rogers, AR Travel: May include up to 10%domestic/international Relocation Assistance: Not available Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
