Job Description:
As a cashier at Wingstop, you'll play a crucial role in the front of the house by taking and delivering orders to the kitchen staff. You'll need to be quick, efficient, and effective in communicating with both crew members and kitchen staff to ensure that guests get their orders on time. As a cashier, you'll balance your cash drawer, handle customer queries, and, when necessary, replace food to keep things running smoothly. This is a very fast-paced job that requires a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Great cash handling skills.

Strong work ethic.
Must have integrity, honesty, and accountability.
Food Handler Certification required.
TABC Seller/Server Certification required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant or calling in.
Take orders from customers in person and over the phone; upsell and maintain knowledge of the menu, sauces, new items, and promotions.
Accurately process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions; verify age for alcohol purchases.
Answer questions from customers and make menu recommendations.
Ensure that all orders are read and fulfilled within company time standards.
Verify that all wings are presented properly and double-check all orders before handing them to customers.
Balance the register at the end of each shift and deliver the total amount to the next shift.
Assist in maintaining a clean workplace; keep the Front of House (FOH) clean and stocked.
Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to promote safety in the workplace.
Maintain a professional and presentable appearance according to the company's uniform standards.
Handle customer complaints and escalate to a manager if necessary.
Leave every customer with a positive, lasting impression of their Wingstop experience.
