About the position

Responsibilities
Ā Provide patient education and support in oncology care.

Ā Cover various oncology specialties while primary case managers are unavailable.

Ā Collaborate with physicians and APPs to ensure effective patient care delivery.

Ā Manage a system of patient care delivery for designated patients to achieve quality outcomes.
Requirements
Ā Minimum of three years nursing experience required.

Ā Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required.

Ā Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or a compact state license required.

Ā Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from an AHA endorsed program.
,
Ā Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
,
Ā Ability to prioritize and make independent clinical judgments required.
,
Ā Experience with basic patient care equipment and policy manuals required.
,
Ā Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team required.
,
Ā Effective critical thinking and analytical skills required.
Nice-to-haves
Ā Prior nursing experience in oncology or related fields preferred.

Ā Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred.

Ā Knowledge of healthcare financial environment and reimbursement systems preferred.

Ā Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
