Campaign Associate

The Campaign Associate will work closely with partners and senior leadership to facilitate client campaigns and organization projects, gaining exposure to federal, state, and local campaigns during a crucial election cycle for the Democratic Party. Responsibilities Collaborating with partners and strategists to manage mail piece development and processing client changes with designers Analyzing past election results and assisting partners with determining impact on planning Running counts and pulling data in various voter file interfaces Organizing and compiling campaign research Assist in writing projects on a wide range of issues Assist in proofing copy in pieces Assist with any other tasks, including the scheduling of conference calls and meetings Other duties as assigned Skills Drive to help Democratic candidates and progressive organizations win An interest in political communications, direct mail, and consulting At least one cycle of political or campaign experience, preferably in communications, field, or research Experience or exposure to VoteBuilder, TargetSmart, NGP-VAN, Catalist, PDI, L2, and/or other online voter file interfaces Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office systems, Google Documents, and online research tools Extreme attention to detail Strong writing and editing skills An interest in direct voter contact and campaign strategy/messaging Ability to work independently and collaboratively Effective time management skills and ability to juggle several priorities with varying deadlines Energetic and willing to work long hours Desire to learn and grow Bilingual skills, including Spanish, Creole, Korean, and/or Mandarin Relationships with media outlets and reporters, including constituency press Experience with organizational applications including Box, Slack, Trello, and/or Wrike Benefits Home internet reimbursement. 100% paid medical, dental, and vision insurance.
